Back to the team

Returning to Ruyton in 2012, with my daughter starting in the ELC, reminded me of all the things I cherished from my own time as a student at the School. The educational opportunities and extracurricular experiences coupled with a tremendously supportive and engaged community are the qualities that particularly resonated with me.

Bridget is a senior consultant anaesthetist at a tertiary public hospital that treats a diverse range of patients including those from disadvantaged, multicultural and indigenous backgrounds. She is a designated supervisor of doctors undertaking anaesthetic speciality training. As a Senior Lecturer at The University of Melbourne she teaches students in the MD program at the Melbourne Medical School. She also instructs courses for the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Australian Resuscitation Council.  Bridget has two children, Harriet, who is in Year 7 at Ruyton and, James, who is in Year 10 at Trinity. She is a member of the Ruyton alumni class of 1991, Dux of Sciences and a proud Anderson House supporter.
