Our School

Margaret McRae Centre

One of the newest additions to Ruyton Girls’ School is the Margaret McRae Centre, an innovative building housing science laboratories, spaces for drama and movement, the home rooms for Years 7 and 8, a large events space for community functions and an outdoor stage, which is regularly used by our students for lunchtime performances.

Designed to Optimise Student-Centred Learning

Completed in December 2015 the four level, 3000m2 education facility incorporates a mixture of formal and informal learning spaces. These spaces have been designed and built with transparency, mobility, adaptability and student-centred learning in mind.

21st Century Learning Made Easy

21st century education places a huge emphasis on collaboration and individuality, with technology and interactivity vital to the learning process. The Margaret McRae Centre has been built to give students the highly interactive, technology-focused spaces they need for optimal learning. All learning spaces have also been designed and constructed with child safety in mind. For more information on any of our education facilities, contact us directly.
