Ruyton’s Early Learning Centre is designed for children aged 3 to 5 years old, encompassing two kindergarten programs (3-year-old) and two Pre-Prep programs (4-year-old). Drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia educational approach, the program places a strong emphasis on child-centred learning and inquiry-based education.

Operating Hours

Our Kindergarten and Pre Prep programs operate between 8.45am and 3.00pm during term times. 

Extended Hours

Our extended day program operates 7.30am – 8.45am and 3.00pm – 6.00pm, during term time and non-term time. 

Holiday Program

Our co-educators run our extended day program as well as our holiday program that runs during non-term times.

Ruyton Early Learning is a registered long day provider which means that government Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is available to families accessing our programs.

The Victorian Government provides funding to support children in accessing high-quality kindergarten and pre-prep programs in the two years before school. Ruyton Early Learning is registered for the Best Start, Best Life reforms and can offer your child their funded kindergarten and pre-prep programs prior to commencing school.
