After graduation from Ruyton, past students join a thriving and active community of over 7,000 Old Ruytonians across Australia and around the world who share a connection to 12 Selbourne Road and the values of our school.

Established in 1908, the Old Ruytonians’ Association (ORA) provides opportunities for past Ruyton students to strengthen the bonds between each other and the School. Any student who has attended Ruyton, irrespective of the year level they finished, is welcome to attend ORA events and activities.

Get Involved

Our former students contribute to every part of the Ruyton community from the Board to the Foundation, as members of staff and current parents. Alumnae can also volunteer to participate in a Careers Night or an Assembly, where they may speak to our current students about their career choices; assist the running of the ORA, mentor an Old Ruytonian or contribute to our Archives.

Reunions bring Old Ruytonians together, providing a way to renew friendships and reconnect with the School. Formal School Reunions are held at 1, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 years and once alumnae have celebrated their fiftieth reunion, they are invited to join the annual reunion for our Golden Girls. In addition to this program, many ORA year level representatives arrange informal gatherings in between these reunions.

Some interstate and regional reunions are scheduled each year, with plans for international functions as well. Anyone interested in attending these events should ensure their contact details are up-to-date in order to receive invitations and event details.
