Celebrating the creativity and curiosity of our students, Scripsi is an annual literary publication that showcases the very best student writing across our Senior School. This fourteenth edition of Scripsi includes fictional narratives, poetry, speeches and personal memoirs. Some entries are recipients of awards such as the Boroondara Literary Awards, Isobelle Carmody Awards and Orator of the Year awards, while others are representative of the high quality of writing talent in our student body.
This 2020 publication of Scripsi is particularly significant. Created during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, many of the pieces were written under lockdown and remote learning conditions. Each individual contribution is consequently a powerful vignette of imagination from that moment in time, with audiences transported into characters, conversations and reflections of worlds real and unreal. The result is a rich and powerful read.
