“Better a witty fool than a foolish wit.”
Separated from her twin, Sebastian, following a shipwreck, the witty and resourceful Viola, dresses as a boy to find work in the court of Duke Orsino. When he sends Viola to court his intended wife, Olivia, on his behalf, chaos ensues… Viola falls for Orsino, Olivia falls for the disguised Viola, and Sebastian arrives, confusing all. Amidst the mistaken identity, the uptight and self-righteous Malvolio is made to appear foolish by the alliance of the rowdy Sir Toby Belch, the foolish Sir Andrew Aguecheek, and the sly lady-in-waiting, Maria.

It is a great privilege to work, study, and create theatre on lands where storytelling and artistry have been central to its rich and continuing history.
