National Neuroscience Brain Bee Challenge

National Neuroscience Brain Bee Challenge

... students learn about the brain and its functions ...

Due to their excellent result in the first round of the Australian Brain Bee Challenge, Susan F, Guwanya K, Maddy T and Tara Z were invited to take part in the State finals held at the Melbourne Brain Centre (DAX), the University of Melbourne on Wednesday 18 July. We congratulate the girls on achieving third place overall in the competition.

The Australian Brain Bee Challenge is for Year 10 students. As part of the programme, students learn about the brain and its functions, neuroscience research, careers in neuroscience and dispel misconceptions about neurological and mental illnesses. The programme provides current and accurate information on the latest advances in neuroscience research, its value to the community, and promotes careers in science and technology.
