Having fun while learning …
Last week, we celebrated Languages Week. Ruyton became a mini version of the global village, where our young learners were engaged in many different cultural activities. Students had opportunities to participate in a Spanish bull run and games, enjoy Italian music while making pasta necklaces, and experience French Tahitian dancing, pétanque (lawn bowls) and decorative flower-making, Chinese calligraphy, cooking and tea making, Chinese national dress, music, singing, dancing, and knotting games …
Thank you to our language staff, parents and Senior School student helpers for their preparation and assistance with these events.
