Anzac Day Ceremony

Anzac Day Ceremony

'Lest We Forget'

Year 12 History students Ciara B, Ella C, Amy H and Kate S, their teacher and Learning Leader of Humanities, Mr Tom Crowle, prepared and delivered a moving tribute to our servicemen and women in our Anzac Day ceremony yesterday. The themes this year were music, poetry and remembrance, providing an opportunity to consider the service, bravery, sacrifice and loss of those who served.

Thank you to the Senior Ensemble Band for their beautiful musical accompaniment and to Vinhara G who played 'The Last Post' and 'Reveille.' The ceremony concluded with a beautiful item by the Year 12 Singers, who performed the song 'Mothers’ Pride.'

Co-Captains Jessica H and Tess S, along with the Year 12 History students, represented Ruyton at the Kew RSL Anzac Day march on Sunday, where they presented a wreath on behalf of our community.
