Four Ruyton girls competed against the best in Australia at the 2017 GHF Age National Swimming Championships in Queensland from 16-21 March.
Two Ruyton girls qualified and swam in individual events. Sophie M swam in the 100 breaststroke and Abi R swam the 100 and 200 breaststroke. Both girls swam well and Abi's 200 breaststroke placed her in the top 16 in Australia.
For the first time Ruyton Aquatic Club had two 14/u relay teams compete. Ruyton girls Rachel C, Vanessa L and Abi R were part of the successful teams.
