Ms Kylie Taylor joined the Board in January 2013. She became Deputy President in January 2017. With over 25 years experience in public relations, media and communications, and running businesses in Australia and Asia, she brings a unique skill set to the Ruyton Board.
Kylie is particularly interested in helping organisations adjust to the new world of social media. Asked why she wanted to be involved with Ruyton’s board, Kylie said, ‘I wanted to find a way to contribute my skills and experiences to an environment and community that will have a significant impact on the lives of young people. I feel a strong fit with Ruyton’s traditions and values and I have been very impressed with my experiences at the School to date. I feel honoured to be given this opportunity to contribute.’ Kylie also has experience in developing a social enterprise in a third world country which has been recognised for several achievement and humanitarian awards.
Currently she is the Group Managing Director, senior partner and Board Member of public affairs agency Baldwin Boyle Group. She works closely with Boards and senior management in public and private sector organisations and advises them on reputation management and stakeholder engagement. Kylie is the mother of Asha Toor, a student at Ruyton and her son attended the Ruyton ELC.
