Year 10 Snowy River Rafting 2019

The Snowy River Rafting trip is one of the exciting options offered to Year 10 girls at the start of Term 4. It begins with a preparation and packing day at School to ensure we have all of the right equipment and gear for a successful and enjoyable experience. The first day of the trip involves driving to East Gippsland, crossing into NSW and setting up at a beautiful campsite next to the river where we organise our gear. We then head off for a 100km journey down the Snowy River, including roughly 100 rapids, both big and small. We enjoy a rest day in the middle of the trip and receive a fresh food drop. A highlight of our rafting is when we enter the Tulloch Ard Gorge, a majestic section of the river that includes some great rapids and stunning scenery.

Well done to all the girls who participated and embraced the experience with enthusiasm and a 'can do' approach.
