Our School

Ms Leanne Smith commenced her role as Ruyton’s Business Manager and joined the Board as Company Secretary in 2014. So as to nurture the educational and social needs of our girls, Ruyton must maintain a rolling programme of improvements to our facilities. Leanne ensures that the sound financial management of the School allows us to achieve our goals. Leanne has an impressive track record in business operations, including financial management, fundraising, governance, human resources, occupational health and safety, risk and stakeholder management and strategic planning. This experience has been acquired from a wide-range of schools and corporations, including, most recently, Toorak College and Melbourne Girls’ Grammar School. Leanne is excited to be taking up her role at Ruyton. ‘As a business professional with genuine passion and interest in the education and future of our young people, I am extremely privileged to be a member of a compassionate and inclusive community and a team that ensures continued success in nurturing the educational and social needs of our girls.’
