Mrs Glenis Gumley is Deputy Principal Senior School.

‘Girls at Ruyton love to share their knowledge and experience with others so that they can continue the traditions of the School and strengthen the community. Opportunities for leadership are extended to everyone at Ruyton.’As a leader herself Glenis knows how important it is to encourage our girls to believe in themselves as leaders. Throughout the School Ruyton girls encounter many opportunities to develop their talents and interests. Training for leadership occurs at various points, both in the classroom and within our co-curricular programme. Our leadership opportunities are designed to enhance the growth of individual awareness, self esteem and responsibility. Glenis focuses on the pastoral care of the students and leads a team of teaching staff to inspire all members of the Ruyton community in their support of our girls to reach their potential. Before moving to Ruyton in 2010 Glenis had a number of leadership roles at other schools, as well as having taught Mathematics and Science in the classroom.
