Congratulations to all girls who performed on Saturday in the Vocal Concert, and also to Mr Smith, Director of Performing Arts and the music teachers. The audience were visibly impressed by the musical talent on display and the answer to Why We Sing was clear ... because it brings great joy to those who listen.
Thank you to Vocal Leader, Elise K, and Music Captain, Belle H, who provided wonderful leadership throughout the year, and played a large role in ensuring the success of the evening. Special mention also to Co-ordinator of Keyboard, Mr Shaun Jones, who provided accompaniment to every item. Friends of Ruyton Performing Arts (FORPA) provided generous support with front of house assistance on the evening, as well as refreshments for the girls between performances.
It was fabulous also to see Mrs Janine Power so fondly acknowledged for her commitment to the Performing Arts at Ruyton, as she leaves to further her career.
