Thank you to the Lascelles and Anderson House debating finalists who presented with good humour and creative debating techniques on the last day of Term 3. The audience was also extremely impressed with the powerful messages delivered by the finalists in the Alan Patterson Public Speaking Competition. The judge, Ms Elaine Doyle, commented on their ‘well-researched, evidence based persuasive and engaging delivery. Their reflections on society were commanding and spoken with great passion.’
