‘I knew that there was something special about Ruyton the moment I first set foot in the grounds. With three daughters now at the School, Ruyton has become a very important part of our lives. I love all that Ruyton has to offer, from its warm and welcoming community, to the engaging environment for learning it provides for our girls. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to participate in the life of the School through various volunteering roles. I am passionate about continuing to enhance and strengthen the wonderful sense of community that is such a feature of Ruyton.’

Melinda is a pharmacist and has business interests both in metropolitan Melbourne and rural areas of Victoria. Together with her husband, she is a partner in the Advantage Pharmacy Group that operates several businesses, including a pharmacy franchise, software development, cosmetics and logistics companies. Melinda has four children. Eloise, Lucy and Miranda are all at Ruyton and Hugo attends Trinity. Melinda enjoys cooking, reading, playing netball and is working to improve her French.
