GSV Swimming - Division 1 Championship

On Wednesday 22 March, the GSV Swim Team, led by our 2017 Captains, Carissa L and Sophie M, finished in 2nd place overall, behind MLC in the Division 1 Championship. Ruyton won Juniors, and finished 3rd in Inters and 2nd in Seniors. This is Ruyton’s fifth consecutive 2nd place finish in a Division 1 Championship. This exceptional team result means that, for the fifth year in a row, Ruyton ranked 2nd in swimming out of the 24 GSV member schools.

Thank you to Head Swim Coach, Mrs Lauren McLaverty, and to PE staff member Mrs Angela Allen, for their enthusiasm and work throughout the season. A large number of students qualified to compete in the GSV Finals Evening on Tuesday 28 March. This event showcases the top ten swimmers in each age group for 2017 across the 24 member schools.
