Susie is a Ruyton parent and a Director at Social Ventures Australia, a not-for-profit working with social purpose organisations, government and philanthropic funders to improve the lives of people in need in Australia. Susie and her family returned to Australia three years ago after 15 years overseas in London, Singapore and Washington DC. During that time Susie was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company (in their energy, finance and healthcare practices) and spent a year seconded to the UK Prime Minister's office. Prior to joining McKinsey, Susie was a solicitor with Allens and a senior advisor to the Victorian Minister for Health. Susie also serves on the Board of Trinity College at the University of Melbourne and is responsible for governance oversight of all major capital projects across the College. Susie brings to the Ruyton Foundation deep experience working at a strategic level in both the private and not-for-profit sector, as well as governance of educational institutions. She is also passionate about girls' education and is looking forward to contributing to the School through the work of the Foundation. Susie is married to Bruce and they have three children, Emma who is currently at Ruyton and sons, Ben and Charlie, who are at Scotch College.
