Alyssa is a Non-Executive Director of Women’s Property Initiatives (WPI), a not-for-profit housing provider that works with government and philanthropic funders to develop high quality and affordable long term housing for women and children at risk of homelessness. 

Prior to joining WPI, Alyssa held senior legal positions in both private practice at Allens Arthur Robinson and as a corporate lawyer at Accenture, including as Director of Legal Services for Australia & New Zealand and as Director of Legal Services for Japan, South Korea and China.

Alyssa has broad corporate and commercial legal skills with a focus on negotiating complex technology contracts.  At WPI and Accenture, Alyssa has worked closely with the Board and the Executive Management teams on legal & compliance, risk management, strategic planning, financial oversight and other governance related matters.  At WPI, she has been a member of the Audit & Risk Committee and is currently on the Strategic Planning Committee. Alyssa has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics).  She is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has completed the AICD Company Director’s Course.

An active member of the parent community at Ruyton since her eldest daughter, Charlotte joined ELC in 2013 and her twins, Tom & Sophie joined in 2016.  She is enjoying being a member of the Parents of Ruyton Committee and looks forward to contributing to the School through the work of the Foundation.
