The Parents of Ruyton (POR)
The parent body of Ruyton is called The Parents of Ruyton, more commonly known as the POR. All parents/guardians of children at the School are automatic members. The POR Committee is the link between the school and the parents and concentrates on friend-raising rather than fundraising. Events organised by the POR include: New Parents Cocktail party, Mothers’/Fathers’ Day Breakfasts and the Second Hand Book and Uniform Sales. In addition POR manages the production of the School Business Directory.
The POR is the umbrella organisation for all the Special Interest Parent Support Groups within the School.
