Claire Golder
(’99)
married Tim Robertson on
March 13 2011 in Byron Bay. Claire’s bridesmaids
included Felicity Quilty (nee Irvine ’99), Stephanie
Doyle and Terri Golder.Tim is the son of our very own
Mrs Angela Robertson who teaches in the Junior
School. Claire is working as a Product Manager for
L’Oreal Professionnels.

February 26 2011 Holy Trinity Kew, Penny Yewers (’03)
enthralled the congregation with her beautiful singing.

married Volker
Hoppe at The Gables in East Malvern. Lesley was
attended by two of her school friends Jill Webb (Daniels

and Louise Dwyer (Fraser ’66).
Miranda Celeste Duigan
(’90)
was married to
Andrew John Switajewski on April 2 2011 at Coorabella
House, Coorabell, in the Byron Bay district of NSW.
Her Maid of Honour was Ann Forbes Harper (’90).

Pamela Hall
(
Tompkins ’59) is still actively serving the
community in her many volunteer roles. She works
with the Australian Red Cross as a zone representative
and is also President of the Moss Vale/Berrima branch.
As President of the Southern Highlands Branch of
Cam assist she is involved with assisting, caring and
fundraising – a role she says she finds particularly
fulfilling.

for service to medicine as a paediatrician and to
medical administration.
Australian born pianist
Bonnie Brown
(’94)
is an active
soloist, collaborative artist and teacher. In 2008 she
relocated to Paris to study at the
Ecole Normale
de Musique de Paris
.
While in Paris, she spent her first
year as Australian Artist in Residence at the
Cité
Internationale des Arts
on a residency scholarship,
and was awarded the second prize internationally from
the
Fondation Nadia et Lili Boulanger
for 2009–10.
A graduate of Melbourne University, Bonnie is a
seasoned and passionate chamber musician and
dedicated music teacher for students of all ages.
On a recent visit home to Australia, Bonnie performed
a piano duo concert with Louisa Breen. It was a spirited
performance! In the hands of these two highly-
accomplished and internationally-celebrated Australian
concert pianists, two grand pianos thundered and soared.

Rafaela Cleeve Gerkens
(‘05)
has been working in
the Early Learning Centre as our substitute French
teacher. Miss Raf, as the children affectionately call
her, is an ex-Ruyton student who was also a Co-Captain
at Ruyton Girls’ School during her VCE years. Rafaela
has now completed a Diploma in Modern languages,
specialising in French. She lived in Paris for six months
and has much experience working with young
children.The ELC is thrilled to be able to use Miss Raf’s
considerable talents.
