The
company’s inaugural playattractedover 70hopeful
actors for justeight roles. Itwasadaunting task tohave
to select successful candidates from suchapool of
talent. Aftermuchdeliberationa strongcastof funny
andquick-wittedactorswas selected, includingOld
TrinityGrammariansBenStanford (’10) andThomas
Little (’13),whoplayed thecomical rolesofAlgernonand
Jack respectively. Theproductionwas ledandmanaged

OTGTheatrehascentredonprovidinganoutlet for

TheBurkeandGraham familieswerewonderful hosts
whomademe feel verywelcomeandcomfortable in
Melbourne. I loved theexperience, taking the tram
aroundKew, sightseeing,meetingnewpeople: itwasa
fantasticexperienceoverall. Iwasable to study subjects
notofferedat school inSouthAfrica, suchasPsychology
and Legal Studies. Afterwemarried,myhusbandand
I decided toemigrate toAustralia, adecisionwithwhich
Iwasdelightedas I alwayshadviewed thecountrywith
suchpositivity.Wearrived inAugust 2010and lived in
Brisbane for fourmonthsbeforemoving toMelbourne.
InNovember 2012 I gavebirth toa sonand I found the
professional health supportexcellent, aswell as
benefitting from theassistanceof awonderfulmothers’
group.We love livinghere. It isaprivilege living inafirst
worldcountry; from thepublic transport to the lovely
parks, librariesandmuseums; it isawonderful life in
MelbourneandAustraliaasawhole!

towelcome Lisbeth Juliet to their family, bornat4.40pm
on28October 2013. Lisbethweighed inat 3.39kgs /
7.7pounds. All aredoingwell!
