Sub-Committees

In 1999 the committee formed sub committees to better address the different aspects of the ORA's objectives.

Year Level Representatives

This committee aims to keep the Reps informed of what is happening with the Association, and a calendar of functions for the coming year. The Reps' job is to assist with up-coming functions by contacting the people from their Year lists, to ensure a positive response. Also to gain feedback on what their year level wants.

Annual Giving

The ORA Annual Giving programme, which is still in its infancy but will become increasingly important to ensure the benefits of the ORA bursary meets the needs of our worthy recipients and to secure a financially stronger ORA.

Social & Networking Functions

Plan, co-ordinate and implement social and networking functions through the year for the members of the ORA.

Information Technology

Establishing and maintaining a web site for the ORA as a communication tool between the ORA and its members. Streamline mail outs to all members by using current technologies such as e-mail.

Education

Help provide a smooth transition from school life to university or tertiary studies. Provide a network of contacts for Old Girls to help in advancing and developing their careers.

Sports

Co-ordinating the ORA's participation in a number of annual sporting events.
