On Thursday 12 May students from Years 9 and 10 Psychology attended an excursion to the Melbourne Museum. This excursion was part of their investigation into the work of a Forensic Psychologist. While on the excursion they were able to explore the Mind Exhibition and take part in a criminal profiling activity called Cold Case Detectives.
On Monday 16 May the students had the opportunity to work with a Forensic Scientist through the Scientist in Schools Programme. The programme works to bring scientist into the classroom and make real world connections with the students learning. The forensic scientist we are in partnership with is Ms Stephanie Oliver. In the session the girls learnt about blood splatter analysis and how to determine trajectory.
