Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in the Year 6 Science Classroom
19 Aug 2015
Year 6 Scientists are busy acting as architects, interior designers and electrical engineers as part of their unit on Electricity. Students have been challenged to design and construct a room as part of a class doll’s house. As part of their construction, they must incorporate working electrical components, applying their knowledge of the properties of electricity and electrical circuits. The students have been utilising design software on their iPads to assist in visualising their ideas and guiding their construction.
