It has been an unusual start to the term, as we begin the process of building the new Margaret McRae Centre. There is no underestimating the shock we all experienced when we saw the gaping hole where the old building and many of our fond memories were located. After many hours of hard work, particularly with moving the Science Department, we are well-situated to commence the term with minimal disruption to classes. Year 7 girls have found their new home in the portables and have settled in very well, managing the new lockers with some confidence and excitement. My heartfelt thanks to the Maintenance Department, Science Department and to all of the teachers who have moved offices and classroom equipment over the break.
