There is a series of groups whose work underpins many of the opportunities available to our School community.
Friends of Ruyton Art Team (FORART)
FORART supports the Art Department in the organisation of exhibitions, master classes, gallery visits and visiting artists’ programmes. It provides opportunities for young artists to exhibit their work and enables parents to interact with other families whose children are passionate about the Visual Arts. FORART also raises funds for events and art prizes.
Friends of Ruyton Performing Arts (FORPA) - incorporating former Friends of Ruyton Drama (FORDA) and Friends of Ruyton Music Association (FORMA)
FORPA works in conjunction with staff in the Performing Arts Department to promote and support Performing Arts within the Ruyton community. This includes Front-of-House activities, backstage support such as make-up, costume-making and set production, and catering during rehearsals for drama performance. FORPA also assists in the organisation of musical concerts and performances. These occasions provide wonderful opportunities for our students to perform in front of an audience. FORPA raises funds to support the Performing Arts at Ruyton.
