Ms Nicole Ginnane is Deputy Principal and Head of Junior School.
Nicole has an excellent track record as an educator and leader in schools around Australia. Her experience has led to an obvious commitment to girls’ education and she clearly recognises the benefits of the single-sex education for girls. ‘I am committed to ensuring that every girl achieves her personal excellence and enrichment through the education process. I believe schools have the power to transform lives and understand the important roles that quality teaching and leadership play in achieving enrichment for all students. I am committed to understanding every girl’s capabilities and designing learning to realise her capabilities.’ Nicole’s particular areas of interest include the Inquiry approach to learning and the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which both focus on a student-centred educational approach. Nicole is also passionate about the use of coaching and mentoring strategies to support and further develop teaching staff. Nicole’s responsibilities include the strategic and day-to-day management of the Junior School, overseeing the pastoral care, curriculum and co-curricular programmes, creating and nurturing a culture of collaboration, leading and managing the staff and representing the School at professional events and through participation in networks.
