Despite his busy professional life Mr Cameron Price, like most parents, takes a strong interest in the academic and extra- curricular activities and development of his three children.
‘Our daughter has really thrived since she entered Ruyton in Year 6, and both my wife and I are very appreciative of the environment and opportunities that the School has provided for her. Over the past few years I've sought to support the School and its outstanding rowing programme through my active role as Vice President of the Henty Rowing Club, and it is an honour to be able to serve the School through the Board.’
Currently Cameron is General Counsel at the Future Fund (Australia's sovereign wealth fund) in Melbourne, working closely with the Chair and other senior management. As chief legal officer Cameron advises on legal, governance and governmental matters. Cameron has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Economics (major in Accounting) from Monash University. Previously he practised for 25 years at a leading law firm as a commercial lawyer both here and internationally, and specialised in mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and corporate governance. Cameron is married to Madeleine, a medical doctor, who has also been involved with the School as a POR year level representative.
