The School Co-Captains
Our Co-Captains for 2017 are Meredith Rule and Roshica Ponnampalam.
‘What does it mean to be a Ruyton girl? It means being part of a warm, nurturing environment that fosters learning and curiosity. It means understanding the importance of family, humility and hard work. It means finding yourself and exploring the countless opportunities that await …’
Meredith arrived at Ruyton in Year 5 with a panama hat in hand, and quickly understood why it was a place loved by so many. Ruyton’s supportive environment encouraged Meredith to participate in a range of co-curricular activities and challenged her to seek out the best in herself. With a particular keenness for sport, Meredith was delighted to participate in GSV Athletics, Hockey and Cross Country competitions. The School plays and musicals fostered Meredith’s passion for the Performing Arts, seeing her as part of the chorus, as well as a member of the costume development crew. Meredith has been able to transfer the leadership skills she has acquired at Ruyton to her casual work and the wider world.
‘I cannot express my gratitude for this wonderful School, which I can say, with pride, has shaped me into the driven woman I am today.’
