‘We wanted to express to you, as both a School and a wonderful community, our deepest gratitude for the level of concern that you had for both our daughters, which went so far beyond any of our expectations. It is comforting to realise in this often stressed world we live in, how people really are so amazing when these unexpected accidents occur, and we have been so humbled by all the kind thoughts and expressions of friendship that we have received. We feel so lucky to be a part of this incredible Ruyton community, which has so clearly been created from the warmth and kindness of the wonderful Ruyton staff members.’
Junior School Family
Ruyton is a special place and this is reflected in the thriving School community. Ruyton Early Learning, Junior and Senior Schools are linked together on the same campus and this fosters a strong sense of belonging. Ruyton is a community where teachers, girls and their families work together and value each other. This whole-school approach to developing and maintaining positive relationships allows our girls to mature as confident and self-assured individuals.
As a parent at the School we welcome your involvement in one of the School Support Services. There are many opportunities to stay connected with the School once your daughter has finished Year 12. You may choose to continue to support Ruyton through the Foundation. As a Past Student your daughter is able to remain in touch with the School and participate in a variety of activities. There are frequent Reunions, both at the School and, on occasion, interstate. The Development Co-ordinator, Community welcomes ideas and suggestions about alternative venues. We are very proud to celebrate our Women of Significance and welcome opportunities to invite them back to talk to our girls.
Ruyton has developed a Code of Ethical Conduct which underlines our relationships, communications, decision-making and actions as a community of students, staff and parents. The values underpinning ethical behaviour at Ruyton are:
