Personalised learning underpins all that is offered at Ruyton. This maximises challenge, choice and diversity within the curriculum and across co-curricular activities, providing a balance of learning for life. Progress is reviewed on a regular basis for each girl, and should extension or assistance be required, our personalised learning approach identifies this.
The curriculum in the Senior School is wide-ranging and creative, and offers an impressive array of subjects to ensure ample opportunities for each girl to explore individual interests and talents. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
• English (including public speaking and debating)
• Science, Design and Technology
• Languages (Chinese and French)
• Information Technology
• Performing Arts (Drama, Music)
• Visual Arts (Art, Media, Fashion, Photography)
• Physical Education and Sport
As part of VCE girls are able to take advantage of the co-ordinate programme with nearby Trinity Grammar School. This extends the range of subjects on offer while both schools retain their independent identity. It also affords insight into a co-educational environment which girls will undoubtedly experience in their tertiary studies.
