Principal

As a parent, one of your greatest responsibilities is to ensure that your children are exposed to an environment at home and at school which develops learning abilities and an enthusiasm for learning.

At Ruyton, in an intimate and caring environment, you will be supported in this duty by skilled and inspired teachers who nurture the individual talents of your child.

Children learn not only from their formal lessons, but also from the behaviour and attitude of the community members with whom they come in contact. They learn the skills and knowledge outlined in a curriculum and also the values and attitudes implicit in communal behaviour.

Ruyton staff model principles and values which encourage students to develop self-awareness, social conscience, creativity, enterprise and independence. As each girl grows from childhood to adulthood, she is encouraged to be accountable for her own life outcomes, and to be a responsible citizen.

By selecting Ruyton as the school for your daughter, you are providing her with opportunities to achieve personal excellence in an environment which fosters her desire to learn.
