Carolyn Anderson Building
This houses the Junior School Centre for Creativity where there are specialist facilities for music, drama, science and art, as well as classrooms for Prep and Year 6.
This is used not only for early morning tennis coaching, but also for netball training and matches.
This is where our many music tutors conduct individual lessons in a wide range of instruments, including piano, percussion, brass, woodwind, string and also in voice.
The Royce Theatre is where our School assemblies take place each week, as well as regular drama and musical productions. The seating is raked and retractable.
Junior School Building
Sitting adjacent to the Carolyn Anderson Building this is where classes are conducted for Year 1 to Year 5.
Margaret McRae Building
Located adjacent to and above the Courtyard Café, here you will find science laboratories on the ground floor and Year 7 classrooms above.
Named after one of Ruyton’s Principals, this building is where Senior School students study the Humanities.
Library Resource / The Foundation Building
This Centre has state-of-the-art Information and Technology facilities, a Library, a theatrette, screening room and drama studios.
Located in the courtyard between the Junior and Senior School, this facility offers girls the opportunity to purchase nutritional snacks and meals.
Henty House/Health Centre
This is where the main administration of the School is located. Principal’s Conversations are conducted in the Reception room.
Jacobs Building / Prue Gillies Centre
Extensive art, craft and photography facilities are found on the ground floor of this building, while on the first floor there are classrooms for English and Languages Other Than English (LOTE).
At the heart of the School, this open space is an area for sport and for girls to relax during their breaks. It is sheltered by the heritage protected Moreton Bay Fig tree.
This is where you will find the team who make up the Development Office, including the School Archivist. The Parents of Ruyton group, Questers, has a creative space upstairs.
Early Learning Centre
Ruyton Early Learning houses our co-educational Kindergarten and Pre Prep groups in a stimulating and nurturing play environment.
John Bate PE Centre
Along with the Aquatic Centre, a large gym and extensive sporting equipment provide the School with a comprehensive Physical Education, Health and Wellbeing facility.
This features a 25 metre heated indoor swimming pool and purpose-built heated learning pool. A strength and fitness room overlooks the pools from a mezzanine level.
